On this day (November 7, 2009) ten years ago, Whitney’s song “Million Dollar Bill” from her seventh studio album I Look To You reached #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. It became Whitney’s 13th #1 dance single in her lifetime (she now has 14 with the addition of “Higher Love” in 2019). The single also charted in many other countries and did well on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart in the U.S. where it spent 16 weeks, peaking at #16.
