December 15, 1998 (25 years ago) – Whitney’s “Heartbreak Hotel” with Faith Evans and Kelly Price was released as the second single from her My Love Is Your Love album. Written by Soulshock & Karlin and Tamara Savage, the song became a worldwide hit receiving two GRAMMY nominations for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. The stunning music video was filmed in Miami and was the first of Whitney’s videos to be directed by Kevin Bray, who went on to direct another seven music videos for Whitney throughout her career.
