August 25, 1997 – Whitney became part of the world of tennis as she performed at the legendary dedication ceremony and opening of Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York. Whitney spoke at the event stating, “This is an honor to help celebrate the opening of the Arthur Ashe Stadium — this is incredible — and this incredible reunion of champions. Like Arthur, each of you had your moment in time. So tonight, I would like to dedicate this song to all of you.”
