HBO to Live Broadcast the Ceremony
The rescheduled 2020 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony presented by Klipsch Audio will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio. HBO will broadcast the show live beginning at 8 p.m. EST.
The 2020 Induction Ceremony honors Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, The Notorious B.I.G., T-Rex, and Ahmet Ertegun Award recipients Irving Azoff and Jon Landau.
“Important cultural events like the Induction Ceremony are what make Cleveland strong. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Hall is a great asset for our State and Induction Week provides a significant economic benefit to our region,” said Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson.
Following the recommendation of public health officials, the 2020 Induction Ceremony was postponed as a precaution due to COVID-19 concerns. The Ceremony was originally set to take place on May 2nd.
Tickets for the original date will be honored. Fans do not need to exchange their tickets. Those who cannot attend the rescheduled date can refund their tickets by accessing their Ticketmaster account.
