February 20, 1993 (30 years ago today) – “I Have Nothing” was released as the third single from The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album. Written by David Foster and Linda Thompson and produced by Foster, the song became another huge hit for Whitney. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song and Soul Train Music Award for Best R&B Single, Female.
