Even though it’s GRAMMY week, we must mention that today is the 25th anniversary of Whitney’s iconic American Music Awards performance, singing the medley of “I Loves You, Porgy,” “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” and “I Have Nothing” – arguably her greatest live TV performance. She also went on that night to collect a record (for a female artist) 8 American Music Awards for The Bodyguard!!! And she was presented the Award of Merit by Stevie Wonder. #whatanight
