November 2000 – “Fine,” the fourth single from Whitney: The Greatest Hits, was released by Arista Records. The song was written by Raphael Saadiq and Kamaal Fareed and produced by Saadiq and Q-Tip. LA Weekly wrote in its review of the album, “‘Fine’ is soulful, funky and tight as hell. And the vocal performance ranks among Whitney’s best.” The music video was shot on a rooftop in New York City and directed by Kevin Bray.
