On December 4, 1990 (30 years ago) “All The Man That I Need” was released as the second single from Whitney’s I’m Your Baby Tonight album. Produced by Narada Michael Walden, the song became a huge worldwide hit, reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and Adult Contemporary chart and becoming her first single to top all three charts simultaneously. The video was directed by Peter Israelson and was filmed in the New York/New Jersey area including use of a local children’s choir.
